Bleeding Butterfly

Beautiful tragedy, bleeding butterfly.
My bloody hope refuses to die.
Just let me breathe, let my insides scream.
This heart has got to dream.

Black water dripping into this soul,
A chance, a risk, dice ready to roll.
A tear, a wish, itching to fight.
Stand strong, spirits taking flight.

I love you, and I need you here.
Spinning round, the air filled with fear.
Broken wings, yet golden with shine.
Paired with a soul, a heart so fine.

Salty pride streaming to an end.
Ink, paper, message ready to send.
Courage, stength, this heart is brave.
A worthy soul, please God, a soul to save.
