Never Look Back

I slammed the door
On hate and regret.
And walked away
Deep into this yawning night
To somewhere
i never had gone before
So that I can forget
Those filthy damn ways
That I paved in a plight
Its too much now.
Too much that I cant bear.

I tried to unlock the gate
That stood like a barrier
So rigid and strong
Separating the unknown
And told me the time's gone late
Pretended I couldn’t hear
Coz I wanted to stroll long
i wanted to be on my own.
And I walk alone…on and on.
